It is now distributing Tamburo drums, Eikon mics and monitors, Diehard pro stage gear (bags, cables, and stands), and Axiom Pro Audio Sound Systems in the U.S. and Canada.
Proel North America first previewed the expansion of its products to be released in North America at the 2020 NAMM Show in by showcasing three booths in three product halls featuring its expanded line-up of musical instruments, pro audio, and stage gear.
The Proel booth featured pro audio gear including Eikon EIKON microphones and studio monitors (Eikon audio), DH professional cables, bags, and stands, Proel sound systems, and its flagship Axiom Pro Audio installation gear, which is handmade in Italy.
The Dexibell booth, first launched in North America in 2017, featured the line-up of digital stage pianos, organs, and keyboards as well as the preview of the new VIVO H10 upright and mini-grand piano models.
The Tamburo booth featured Italian-made drumsets, including the Opera series (slat-wood), the Unika series (pressed-wood), and the Volume series (seamless-acrylic). Celebrating its 35th year of manufacturing drumsets, 2020 marked the first year that Tamburo was featured with its own booth at The NAMM Show.
“For generations, Italian craftsmanship has led the way not only in musical instrument manufacturing, but in every manufacturing sector (automotive, architecture, fashion, food, and home goods; not to mention literature, film, fine art, music, entertainment, and the performing arts). I am excited that North American musicians and dealers will now have the opportunity to experience high-quality Italian craftsmanship that will distinguish their sound and stagecraft from the standard faire on the market today,” says Antonio Ferranti, president of Proel North America. “Today’s performer seeks the highest quality instruments and gear with the most advanced technology, and unique style and Proel brands deliver with cutting-edge tone, touch, technology, and design.”
