CAD Audio has changed its distribution network in Canada and appointed Coast Music, a division of JAM Industries, as its exclusive distributor for the MI marketplace.
The CAD Audio line of products will be managed by Coast Music’s Scott Atkins, who currently serves as
percussion product manager. Atkins brings an education background in audio recording and 20-plus years of
music industry experience, of which 17 have been with the Coast Music management team.
“We are committed to providing the best service and products to our MI customers and we are thrilled to have the opportunity to partner with CAD Audio to deliver a brand recognized for their immense quality with a long and rich heritage,” says Coast Music VP Dan Kano. “We are looking forward to expanding market share in Canada and it is our goal to create a stronger presence of CAD Audio products among retailers and greater accessibility to consumers.”
“We are delighted to have Coast Music as CAD Audio’s exclusive distributor for the music industry in Canada," says Brig Carr, president of CAD Audio. "Coast has an outstanding organization and a highly professional sales force. The CAD Audio product line of live sound microphones, recording microphones, and professional headphones fits perfectly with Coast Music’s current product offering. We look forward to great success with the talented team at Coast Music.”
CAD Audio originally took shape as the Astatic Corporation, founded in 1931 and has evolved into a successful manufacturer of commercial and studio microphones and accessories for a wide variety of applications across the globe.
